The janitor’s knowledge and attitude towards household infectious waste countermeasure during pandemic COVID-19 in Manado city

Background: COVID-19 pandemic causes the emergence of rubbish indicated containing or usually called as infectious waste. The household waste sources related to prevention are such ODP (people in observation) who had done self-quarantine and used APD (self protection equipment) mask gloves. purpose this research is find out correlation between knowledge attitude janitor towards countermeasure during Manado city 2020.Methods: This was quantitative research-observational descriptive approach with cross sectional method. conducted 4 temporary shelters obtained Singkil sub district, Bunaken Pall Dua district Wanea district. samples were selected by using total sampling technique. Total 100 respondents. instrument questionnaire. analysis Chi Square Test.Results: shows that janitors’ good already 53%, 60%, there no city.Conclusions: management an important effort prevent transmission SARS-CoV-12 (COVID-19). Tighter monitoring necessary also education/socialization needed either from behavior side facilities used.
